Installing Mixtikl for iPhone / iPad / iPod touch:

• There are 2 versions of Mixtikl for iDevice - Mixtikl and Mixtikl Free - and they are all available only from the Apple App Store.

Installing Mixtikl for Mac:

• There are 2 versions of Mixtikl for Mac - Mixtikl and Mixtikl Free - and they are all available only from the Mac App Store.

Installing 30 Day Trial Desktop Versions:

• There are 2 versions of Mixtikl for Desktop, Mixtikl (Full) and Mixtikl Free. They are available in the following variants: Desktop Standalone, Desktop Audio Plugins and Desktop Browser Plugin. Some of the versions for Mac are only available from the Mac App Store.

• Mixtikl Standalone, Audio Plugin & Browser Plugin for Windows PC:
  • The downloaded zip file (mixtikl_win.zip) includes Mixtikl_Win_setup.exe
  • Run Mixtikl_Win_setup.exe to install the following (all of which include these Tiklpaks):
    • mixtikl.exe (standalone)
    • mixtikl_VSTi_win.dll (VST plugin)
    • npMixtiklBrowserPlugin.dll (browser plugin)
  • The VST plugins are installed here:
    • 32-bit Mixtikl VSTi: Windows XP, 32-bit Windows 7/Vista
      64-bit Mixtikl VSTi: 64-bit Windows 7/Vista
      • c:\Program Files\VSTPlugins
    • 32-bit Mixtikl VSTi: Windows XP, 32-bit Windows 7/Vista
      • c:\Program Files (x86)\VSTPlugins
• Mixtikl Desktop Audio Plugins / Browser Plugin for Mac:
  • The downloaded zip file (mixtikl_plugins_mac_dmg.zip) includes Intermorphic - Mixtikl Plugins.dmg
  • Run Intermorphic - Mixtikl Plugins.dmg to get the Mixtikl Plugins.mpkg installer and then run that to install the following plugins (all of which include these Tiklpaks):
    • mixtikl_VSTi.app (VST plugin)
      • Installed to Hard Disk/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST (this is NOT found under ~/Library/ where the tilde (~) in the pathname is a shortcut for your user account name)
    • mixtikl_AU_mac.component (AU plugin)
      • Installed to Hard Disk/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components (this is NOT found under ~/Library/ where the tilde (~) in the pathname is a shortcut for your user account name).
    • MixtiklPlugin.plugin (browser plugin)
      • Installed to Hard Disk/Library/Internet Plug-Ins (this is NOT found under ~/Library/ where the tilde (~) in the pathname is a shortcut for your user account name).

Launching Mixtikl

• iPhone / iPad / iPod touch:
  • Tap the relevant Mixtikl or Mixtikl Free app icon in the App screen.
• Desktop PC or Mac:
  • on Windows PC, select Start > Programs > Intermorphic > Mixtikl.
  • on Mac run Finder > Applications > Mixtikl.

Once launched, the load screen will display for a few seconds as Mixtikl loads up and show status updates such as "Loading skin" and "Loading content". Once Mixtikl has loaded the load screen will disappear.

Removing Mixtikl

• PC:
  • Select the corresponding Uninstall item (e.g. Start > Programs > Intermorphic > Mixtikl >).
• Mac:
  • Drag the Mixtikl item that you'll find in the Hard Disk/Applications folder under Finder, to the Trash.
  • Drag the MixtiklPlugin.plugin item under Hard Disk/Library/Internet Plug-Ins to the Trash (this is NOT found under ~/Library/ where the tilde (~) in the pathname is a shortcut for your user account name).
  • Drag the mixtikl_AU_mac.component item under Hard Disk/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components to the Trash (this is NOT found under ~/Library/ where the tilde (~) in the pathname is a shortcut for your user account name).
  • Drag the mixtikl_VSTi.app item under Hard Disk/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST to the Trash (this is NOT found under ~/Library/ where the tilde (~) in the pathname is a shortcut for your user account name).
  • Note: If you want to remove Mixtikl so you can reinstall an older version, see the instructions here.
• iPhone / iPad / iPod touch:
  • In the App screen tap and hold the relevant Mixtikl or Mixtikl Free application icon, and then press the jiggling black cross in the left corner of it.
