Content List & Options

You can customise the way your content is displayed.

Common to: Remixer & Performer:

  • Displayed when selecting content for a Content Cell
  • Select the “+ <SHOW OPTIONS>” entry to display the options below
  • Select “ <HIDE OPTIONS>” to hide the options

[CLEAR]

  • Clears the content from the selected cell

[BROWSE]

  • Lets you choose different top level folders

[PAK HOME]

  • Takes you to the directory of the Pak used as the basis for your mix

[MIC RECORD]

  • Select for a quick means to make a mic recordings for this content cell. See Microphone Recording.

+<SHOW OPTIONS>

  • When this item is selected in the Content List, it will expand to show the following items (and it will “close” up again if <HIDE OPTIONS> is selected):
  • <SHOW CONTENT: value>
    • All (default) – Content list will show content of any type available in the Tiklpak, in accordance with the above setting. E.g. “All” will allow display of all MIDI, Audio and Advanced content.
    • Audio only – Content list will show only audio content (shown in blue)
    • MIDI only – Content list will show only MIDI content (shown in blue)
  • <LOCK: value> [Note: Only displayed in Performer Content List]
    • Yes to force the content in the cell to loop continuously (override behaviour) and No for it to behave normally:
  • <ACTION: value>
    • Select one of the four values to determine what happens when you select a content item:
      • SELECT: Normal behaviour in that content is selected for use in the cell
      • EDIT: Selecting any content that can be edited/modified with Partikl will launch Partikl (and only such content is then displayed in the list, e.g. MIDI files and Partikl files)
      • RENAME: Allows you to rename content in your file system (but not in a Pak as that is a non-editable zip file!)
      • DELETE: Allows you to delete content in your file system (but not in a Pak as that is a non-editable zip file!)

    • Selecting this allows you to browse for other content under the Mixtikl directory.
    • To browse outside of the application, use the BROWSE option above.
