  • <AUDIO: value>

    • The different available output frequencies for recordings. 22KHz mono (default).
  • <AUTO NUMBER: value>

    • This setting determines whether each recording will have a new name (sequential) or whether the previous recording is over written. For example, if auto numbering is off (the display shows ), then this would mean that all microphone recordings are made to the same file name, so you can do a take until you get it right, and the previous version is overwritten. The alternative setting means each microphone recording is stored with a different number from the main name, e.g. rec1.wav, rec2.wav, rec3.wav
      • No (default) – All microphone recordings made to same file name.
      • Yes – All microphone recordings stored with a different number.
  • <TYPE: value>

    • The different available audio formats for recordings. WAV 16bit (default).

    <INPUT FX: value>

    • Yes or No depending on whether you want there to be input FX applied to the mic recording.
  • [EDIT INPUT FX]

    • Select this to display the Partikl FX editor. A compressor is applied by default, but you can change this. Whether the FX Editor displays in Network or Simple mode depends on the setting in the FX Options.

    [SET NAME]

    • Allows the name of the default recording (e.g. mm_rec.wav) to be changed. This is particularly useful if you are making many different numbered recordings, e.g. rec1.wav, rec2.wav and recfrog1.wav, recfrog2.wav etc.
  • [CHANGE FOLDER]

    • Allows a you to select the folder to record to.
