Remixer Main Menu

The Remixer Main Menu lets you access most all of its features and capabilities. To access it, select the softkey Menu, or the left-most toptool bar button. On PPC you can also tap the top left text area at any time.

1 Open

1. List of Paks (screen 1)
   • Select the Pak you want to use; or
   • Select "Get more Paks" to load the (device) browser go to the Intermorphic webstore.
2. List of mix files (screen 2)
   • Select the mix file (if present) you want to use.

   • +<SHOW OPTIONS>

     • Select to show the options. When shown, select to hide the options.
     • Note: Displayed only if Options > Display > Open Mix File Options set to Show.

     • -[RENAME FILE]

       • Select this and then, from the list that displays, select the item you want to rename. Select softkey Cancel to close the list. Note: You cannot rename Mix files provided within Paks.

     • -[DELETE FILE]

       • Select this and then, from the list that displays, select the item you want to delete. Select softkey Cancel to close the list. Note: You cannot rename Mix files provided within Paks.

2 Mix Actions…

1. Capture Mix Automation
   • Puts the software into recording mode to capture your key strokes (or when mix buttons pressed).
2. Clear Mix Automation
   • Clears out any Mix Automation you have saved in the mix file.
3. Make Recording
   • Displays the Recording list.
4. Record Micrphone
   • Displays the Mic Recording list.
5. Clear Loop
   • Once selected, it will clear out from the mix the next loop you select.
6. Clear All Loops
   • Once selected, it will clear out all the loops from the current mix (you are first asked to OK that).
7. Save Mix File
   • Displays the Text Entry screen.
8. Mix Control
   • Displays the Mix Control list.

3 Mix Settings…

1. FX 1
   • Selects FX1
2. FX 2
   • Selects FX2
3. FX 3
   • Selects FX3
4. UFX
   • Displays the UFX list
5. FX Off
   • Temporarily disables the selected FX
6. Volume Levels...
   • 
     Main Menu » Mix Settings » Volume Levels
     
     
   • Change all the cell volumes for buttons 1 to 11, as well as the global volume (bottom of list)
7. Pan Positions...
   • 
     Main Menu » Mix Settings » Pan Positions
     
     
   • Using the navkey left and right, change all the pan positions for tracks 1 to 12
   • 0 is hard left, 127 is hard right and 64 is middle.
8. Equaliser
   • 
     Main Menu » Mix Settings » Equaliser
     
     
   • Using the navkey left and right select the required EQ band, and using the navkey up and down set the required value.
   • Select the middle button on the right to call up the EQ List.
9. Tempo & Pitch
   • 
     Main Menu » Mix Settings » Tempo & Pitch
     
     
   • Selecting the Tempo & Pitch meny item calls up the Tempo & Pitch Shift screen.

4 Mix Control…

1. Numkey / Tap Left...
   • 
     Main Menu » Mix Control » Num Key / Tap Left
     
     
   • Select the Action you wish for the Numkey or tapping the left hand (numbered) side of the Mix button
     1. Loop On/Off: Normal looping behaviour
     2. Select Loops: Launches the Content List
     3. Mic Record: Displays the Mic Recording List
     4. Loop FX: Displays the FX List (so you can apply FX to that particular content - use sparingly!)
     5. Edit SKM: Displays the Partikl Editor
2. Navkey / Tap Center
   • As for Numkey / Tap left above, but the Action you wish for the Navkey or tapping the center of the Mix button
3. Visualiser...
   • Launches the Visualiser list.

5 Community…

• Community: launches the device web-browser to go to intermorphic.com/store.html#tiklpaks

6 Apps…

• Opens the Apps menu

7 Options…

• Opens the Main Options menu

8 Help

• Shows the comprehensive inline help on Mixtikl.
• Use the up/down keys to move through the text or links, and action key to select the links. The software version number is displayed in the About page.

9 Exit

• Exits Mixtikl.
